Fault Lines Table Lamp.

Fault Lines Table Lamp came from noticing how 3D printed layer lines abstract light like a Fresnel lens or fluted glass. That led to both the texture and the form: the layer lines run horizontally and the flutes vertically, so each bends light a different way.

A diffuse inner shade sits behind the flutes to help soften the light source and allow the outer surface to shine. Every lamp comes out slightly different with small variations in the layer lines, depending on what the waste stream delivered.
